The Pennsylvania Statewide Independent Living Council (PA SILC), in partnership with the network of Centers for Independent Living (CILs) and the PA Department of Labor & Industry Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) provided opportunities to hear directly from you about what your life experiences are as Pennsylvanians with disabilities. The PA SILC State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) uses money from the federal government to address independent living needs of people with disabilities based on your input. It is our responsibility to hear from the people to plan for the development of the SPIL. It is your right as a person with a disability in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to be provided with this
opportunity to give input.
This is a one-year extension with technical amendments (minor changes) to the current SPIL. You can read the current SPIL here.
