“Musselman said The Arc is over 90% Medicaid funded.
“We’re now talking Medicaid cuts on top of not having a federal budget and then on top of that having layoffs within the Office of Special Education,” said Musselman.
She said students who have IEP plans in the country could be affected.
“All children regardless of disability deserve the right to have a very bright future and to have an education that meets their needs so that when they graduate, they’re prepared to enter the workforce to volunteer, to be a part of our communities,” said Musselman.”
