The United States Department of Labor Wage And Hour Division is proposing a rule change that would return regulations written in 1975 to effect. This change would mean that many home care workers could potentially be denied overtime, and even minimum wage. This is a very time sensitive issue. Link in post for ease of commenting.
Please comment and make it known that our direct care workers deserve a wage that reflects how valuable they are. The workforce crisis already puts us at risk. Let’s raise our voices. This Labor Day weekend let us take action to support our direct care workforce.
