INDEPENDENT LIVING RALLY 2008

More than 100 IL advocates joined legislators for a rally in the state Capitol Rotunda on June 10, 2008 to support investments in CILs and home and community based services.

After the rally the advocates visited every legislators office to drop off information and a small package of pretzels with the phrase "Don't forget us during the budget crunch: properly fund Centers for Independent Living"
